Contents for Alpine Patrol Pack (4 generic black packs with white crosses)

Purpose: To familiarize students with a standard minimal pack configuration. Four packs will be maintained in USO for class use and may also be used for on-the-hill (OTH) instruction and final examination as required. These packs do not remove the responsibility of each candidate to show up with a personal properly stocked pack for all OTH training. Failure to come equipped with proper equipment could be grounds for not passing a required station.
